Job summary

Harris Computer is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst in the United States (North Carolina) to join the Mobile Team. You will create and maintain comprehensive test plans and scripts for new features, bug fixes, and integrations, and validate customer scenarios to ensure release readiness.

You will document defects, coordinate with developers and product owners, and deliver clear release notes and feature demonstrations for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience testing software applications, creating and executing test cases, validating expected results, documenting defects clearly, and applying strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including defect reports, release notes, and customer-facing documentation.
• Ability to work effectively with developers, support staff, product stakeholders, and other cross-functional team members.
• Strong knowledge of PC and LAN environments, primarily using Windows Server and Windows operating systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to use software tools for data entry, analysis, documentation, presentations, and calculations.
• Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently in a remote team environment.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new features, bug fixes, integrations, customer scenarios, and release validation, including functional, exploratory, regression, and developer work item testing.
• Document, investigate, reproduce, track, and validate software defects, enhancement requests, and customer-reported issues in collaboration with developers, product owners, support staff, and other stakeholders.
• Communicate release changes through clear release notes and demonstrations of new features for customers, peers, and internal stakeholders.
• Use approved AI-assisted tools, where appropriate, to support test planning, defect analysis, documentation, and release note drafting.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, testing standards, documentation, and release readiness practices.
