Job summary

Miller Tanner Associates - WBENC Certified; Global Event/Meeting Planning Services seeks an experienced PX Operations Manager to oversee HR operations, payroll coordination, HRIS administration and employee lifecycle management from onboarding through offboarding.

The role partners with cross-functional leaders to align HR processes with business needs, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality and a people-first approach in a fully remote work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification preferred.
• 5+ years HR operations or generalist experience with payroll systems ownership.
• Experience with HRIS platforms (ADP Workforce Now, HiBob/Bob, Workday, BambooHR).
• Experience supporting multi-state or global workforces.
• Familiarity with 401(k) plan administration, benefits compliance (ERISA, ACA, COBRA) and leave laws (FMLA, state programs).
• Experience in a fully remote or distributed work environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HR operations including employee records management and data integrity across systems.
• Generate and analyze HR metrics and reporting for leadership decisions.
• Payroll oversight with third-party provider and payroll compliance checks.
• Lead onboarding, offboarding, and leave administration.
• Administer employee benefits programs and open enrollment.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws.
