Job summary

Definiti LLC is seeking a People Operations Specialist to support day-to-day HR programs and processes in a remote-friendly environment. You will handle employee lifecycle administration, payroll preparation, benefits, HRIS updates, and reporting while ensuring accurate, scalable processes.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in People Operations, strong communication skills, and experience with HRIS systems such as Paylocity. Flexible PTO, holidays, and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; associate or bachelor’s preferred.
• 2–4 years in People Operations, HR, payroll, benefits, HRIS, or related.
• Experience processing employee lifecycle transactions and payroll/benefits support.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate new hire onboarding and onboarding logistics.
• Coordinate offboarding and exit interviews.
• Process employment verification requests and maintain records.
• Support benefits administration and enrollment questions.
• Prepare payroll changes and audit payroll changes.
• Maintain HRIS data and respond to HRIS inquiries.
• Generate recurring People & Culture reports and assist with communications.
