Job summary

SOLV Energy, a leading provider of solar, storage, and high voltage infrastructure, seeks a Performance Engineer II - O&M to oversee day-to-day operations on active projects. The role allows fully remote or hybrid work with in-office presence in San Diego, CA or Bend, OR.

You will analyze performance data, coordinate with teams, and mentor junior engineers. Responsibilities include data collection, reporting, optimization, and collaboration with OEMs and field teams to ensure project success and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
4+ years of PV Performance Engineering or data analytics experience.
Experience with PV modeling software (PVSyst, PlantPredict, SAM).
Proficiency with MS Excel and other Office tools.
Programming experience in Python, VBA, MATLAB, Java is preferred.

Responsibilities

Safety is the top priority for all site activities.
Collaborate with internal teams to collect data and deliver reports and tests.
On-board active projects into SOLV Energy’s internal performance platforms.
Mentor and coordinate Performance Engineers I & II.
Analyze energy losses and system performance to support reporting and optimization.
Lead project reviews and coordinate with OEMs, field technicians, and SCADA engineers.
