Zillow Group's Zillow Home Loans team is hiring a remote Mortgage Loan Officer in Indiana to originate purchase loans through Zillow's ecosystem, guiding borrowers from application to funding.

You will be evaluated on KPI-driven performance, engagement with customers and partners, and use of CRM/LOS tools, with flexibility to work digitally or with local offices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mortgage origination experience with emphasis on purchase transactions.
• Completion of the 20-hour CORE Pre-Licensing Education and successful passage of the SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator Test – National Component.
• Physically located in and working remotely from Indiana.
• Proven success originating purchase loans in high-volume phone-based or agent-centric models.
• Strong client service orientation with consultative sales skills and deep understanding of the mortgage process.
• Comfortable working in a structured, performance-driven environment with clearly defined KPIs.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to build trust quickly.
• Strong time management, organization, and pipeline management skills.
• Proficiency with CRM, LOS, and Microsoft products.

Responsibilities

• Originate and manage purchase mortgage loans from application through closing.
• Convert opportunities into funded loans through follow-up and borrower consultation.
• Build strong relationships with customers and Zillow Preferred Agents and local partners.
• Manage an active pipeline meeting service levels, productivity metrics, and funding expectations.
• Leverage Zillow’s CRM, LOS, and data-driven tools to manage pipeline health.
• Partner with processing, underwriting, and closing teams to move loans efficiently.
• Deliver high-quality customer experience via phone, email, and text communications.
• Stay current on market trends, lending programs, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain active licensing and participate in ongoing professional development.
