Job summary

Zillow Group is hiring a remote Mortgage Loan Officer for Zillow Home Loans, focusing on purchase transactions. You will originate loans, guide borrowers from application to funding, and deliver a top-tier customer experience.

The role supports either high-volume digital channels or a consultative, market-based model depending on strengths. Qualified candidates have 3+ years in mortgage origination, CORE pre-licensing, and NMLS licensing.

Qualifications

3+ years of mortgage origination experience with emphasis on purchase transactions.
Complete CORE 20-hour Pre-Licensing Education and SAFE test.
Physically located in Ohio and eligible to work remotely.
Proven success originating purchase loans in high-volume or referral models.

Responsibilities

Originate and manage purchase mortgage loans from application through closing.
Convert opportunities into funded loans through proactive follow-up and borrower consultation.
Build strong relationships with customers and Zillow Preferred Agents/partners.
Manage an active pipeline meeting service levels, productivity metrics, and funding expectations.
Leverage CRM, LOS, and data-driven tools to manage pipeline health and engagement.
Partner with processing, underwriting, and closing teams to move loans efficiently.
Deliver a high-quality customer experience via phone, email, and text.
Stay current on market trends, lending programs, and regulatory requirements.
