Job summary

Monetize.com is a remote-first company helping publishers monetize content through search, contextual, native, and affiliate solutions. We are hiring a publisher business development specialist to build and close partnerships with publishers that can contribute qualified lead and referral opportunities.

You will own new publisher acquisition from the first prospecting conversation through negotiation, signed agreement, and coordination of launch, focusing on publishers with relevant audiences

Qualifications

• Proven experience acquiring new publisher partners and closing publisher or supply agreements in lead generation, referral marketing, search, or closely related performance channels.
• Understanding of how publisher content and acquisition sources influence inquiry quality and demand.
• Familiarity with cost-per-click, cost-per-lead, cost-per-acquisition, revenue share, and related models with validation awareness.
• Ability to evaluate source provenance, inventory control, traffic transparency, and evidence supporting performance claims.

Responsibilities

• Build and prioritize a prospect list of publishers with relevant content, audience intent, lead forms, referral funnels, or other conversion paths.
• Identify owners and commercial decision-makers, conduct discovery, and qualify each opportunity against audience fit, source transparency, inventory, and requirements.
• Understand the full user journey from traffic acquisition to handoff of inquiries or referrals.
• Evaluate commercial proposals using conversion, lead acceptance, rejection reasons, and downstream outcomes.
• Lead pitches, handle objections, negotiate terms, close agreements, and coordinate tracking and launch requirements with delivery teams.
• Keep the pipeline current and forecast accurate, recording assumptions, decision-makers, quality requirements, dependencies, and next steps.
