Job summary

Crescent Purchasing Consortium is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our On Demand team. The role involves delivering comprehensive procurement and tendering services to educational clients, with regular travel to client sites within the Hampshire and Oxfordshire regions.

The successful candidate will have public sector procurement experience, familiarity with education sector requirements, and knowledge of relevant regulations.

Qualifications

• Procurement experience within the public sector or the education sector and knowledge of Public Sector Procurement Act 2023.
• Experience running tenders or mini-competitions under framework agreements; familiarity with PA23/PCR2015 is a plus.
• Ability to travel to client sites and manage procurement projects end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive procurement and tendering services to educational clients.
• Travel to client premises and work onsite to support procurement and tender processes.
• Liaise with suppliers and client teams to ensure compliant, value-for-money outcomes.
• Embed best practices and ensure adherence to UK procurement regulations across engagements.
