Kennedy Services Ltd is seeking an experienced procurement professional for a government sector assignment in Baltimore City. The Senior Purchasing Agent/Buyer will manage purchasing of supplies, equipment and services to support schools and offices.

The role requires CPPB certification within three years, a bachelor's in business or related field, and hands-on experience with Ariba, SAP, or Oracle. You'll drive supplier selection, bids, and enterprise purchasing activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing or a related field.
• UPPCC CPPB certification within three years of hiring.
• Four years of purchasing experience.
• Experience with Ariba, SAP or Oracle eCommerce suites.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and execute purchase orders and requisitions with proper pricing and vendor selection.
• Ensure supplier compliance with contract terms and on-time delivery.
• Prepare and evaluate bids and RFPs for materials and services.
• Advise schools on Enterprise purchasing activities.
• Resolve issues between agencies and vendors over goods and services.
• Process requisitions and create purchase orders; maintain procurement records.
• Promote compliance with equal employment and non-discrimination policies.
