Job summary
Thriveworks is seeking a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Gainesville, Florida to provide in-person and telemedicine mental health care to adolescents and adults. Clinicians practice under Thriveworks Clinical Practice Guidelines and exercise clinical judgment in medications and care planning.
This W2, fee-for-service role offers compensation in the six-figure range with 25–35 clinical hours weekly, and a comprehensive benefits package with ADHD training and strong team
Qualifications
- Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with board certification.
- Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority.
- 1 year psychiatry experience required; 3 years overall preferred.
- Must be licensed in the state where practicing.
- In-house ADHD treatment standards training and certification required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations for in-person and telemedicine care.
- Treat clients aged 14 and up; prescribe medications as appropriate.
- Develop and update care plans with clients.
- Complete paperwork and assessment tools for clients.
- Adhere to Thriveworks Clinical Practice Guidelines.
- Consult with Regional Clinic Directors on client programs and services.
