Job summary

Thriveworks is seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners in Lawrenceville, Georgia to provide telemedicine care for adults and adolescents. Clinicians must be licensed in the practicing state and have board certification as PMHNPs.

The role involves conducting psychiatric assessments, prescribing medications when appropriate, and collaborating on comprehensive care plans under Thriveworks guidelines. Training on ADHD standards is provided.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with board certification is required.
• Master’s in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the practicing state.
• Familiarity with AdvancedMD EMR is a plus.
• Three years of experience are a plus; 1 year of psychiatry practice is required.
• Clinicians must be licensed and reside in the practicing state.
• In-house ADHD treatment standards training followed by a certification exam.

Responsibilities

• Make psychiatric assessments and evaluations via telemedicine.
• Willingness to treat clients aged 14 and up.
• Prescribe medications to mitigate mental health symptoms as needed.
• Create and collaborate on individualized care plans.
• Complete necessary paperwork and assessment tools for clients.
• Adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines.
• Consult with Regional Clinic Directors about clients and services across sites.
