Job summary

Thriveworks is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Dallas, GA to provide telemedicine care for adolescents and adults. You will assess, diagnose, and treat patients, prescribing medications as appropriate while following Thriveworks guidelines.

Licensed PMHNP with active prescriptive authority in Georgia is required; 1 year psychiatry experience is needed and 3 years preferred. Training on ADHD standards is provided.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner; Board Certification required
• Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority required in the state
• Three years of experience is a plus; 1 year of psychiatry practice is required
• PMHNPs must be licensed and reside in the practicing state
• In-house ADHD treatment standards training with certification exam

Responsibilities

• Make psychiatric assessments and evaluations via telemedicine
• Treat 14 years old and up; prescribe medications as needed
• Create and collaborate on care plans with clients
• Complete and administer paperwork and assessment tools
• Adhere to Thriveworks Clinical Practice Guidelines
• Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on clients and services
