Job summary
Thriveworks Maitland, Florida is seeking a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team providing high-quality care to adolescents and adults via in-person and telemedicine visits.
As part of a national network, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat mental health conditions, collaborate with colleagues, and adhere to Thriveworks clinical guidelines. A Florida PMHNP license and board certification are required, with prescriptive authority and EMR experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Florida.
- Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority.
- Board Certification required; prescriptive authority in state.
- Experience: 1 year psychiatry and 3 years overall preferred.
- In-house ADHD treatment training with certification exam.
Responsibilities
- Make psychiatric assessments and evaluations for in-person and telemedicine clients.
- Treat clients aged 14 and up; prescribe medications as needed.
- Develop and collaborate on care plans with clients.
- Complete paperwork and assessment tools; adhere to Clinical Practice Guidelines.
- Consult with Regional Clinic Directors on clients, programs and services.
