Job summary
Thriveworks is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Georgia to provide telemedicine assessments and ongoing care for adolescents and adults. The clinician will diagnose, treat, and manage care plans for mental health conditions in a fully remote setting.
Licensed PMHNP with board certification and GA prescriptive authority is required. Experience in psychiatry is valued, and clinicians will collaborate with clinic leadership to maintain high standards of care.
Qualifications
- Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with board certification.
- Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority.
- At least 1 year in psychiatry practice; 3 years overall experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric assessments via telemedicine.
- Treat patients aged 14 and up as appropriate.
- Prescribe medications to alleviate symptoms when indicated.
- Create and update individualized care plans with clients.
- Complete relevant paperwork and use assessment tools per guidelines.
- Follow Thriveworks Clinical Practice Guidelines and coordinate with clinic leadership.
