Job summary

Lavender is a nurse‑founded remote mental health company seeking Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners to perform tele‑psychiatry visits for Rhode Island clients. Roles can be full‑time, part‑time, or contract, with a 1099 compensation model and self‑scheduled hours within 8 a.m.

to 8 p.m., seven days a week, with a minimum commitment of 16 hours. The requirements include MSN, Rhode Island NP license, ANCC board certification, and 2+ years in adult mental health.

Qualifications

• MSN required; Rhode Island NP license required.
• ANCC board certification and 2+ years in adult mental health.
• Own computer and quiet space for tele-psychiatry appointments.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations and collaboratively develop treatment plans with clients for medication, therapy or a combination of both.
• Proactively follow up with clients at minimum on a monthly basis to assess efficacy of interventions and ongoing care.
• Provide various modalities of talk therapy alongside medication management, as part of a client-centered approach.
