Job summary

Thriveworks seeks a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Peachtree City, GA to provide telemedicine psychiatric care for adolescents and adults. The role requires board certification and active prescriptive authority in Georgia.

Clinicians will evaluate, diagnose, and treat clients, with a focus on evidence-based ADHD standards and collaborative care plans. The compensation ranges from $65,000 to $93,000 per year based on 15–20 clinical hours per week, with W2 status.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners; Board Certification required.
• Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority required in the state.
• Understanding of AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is a plus.
• Three years of experience is a plus; 1 year of psychiatry practice is required.
• Licensed PMHNPs must be licensed and live in the state in which they will be practicing.
• In-house training on ADHD treatment standards with certification exam.

Responsibilities

• Make psychiatric assessments and evaluations of clients in an ongoing telemedicine capacity.
• Treat clients aged 14 and up as needed.
• Prescribe medication to reduce mental health symptoms.
• Create and collaborate on patient care plans.
• Complete necessary paperwork and assessment tools.
• Adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines.
• Consult with Regional Clinic Directors on clients, programs, and services.
