Job summary

Lavender is hiring a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to conduct tele-psychiatry visits for clients in California. This full-time/contract role offers a flexible schedule, mentorship, and a supportive remote team. Must commit to at least 16 hours per week and work within 8 a.m.–8 p.m., seven days a week.

Candidates should have an MSN, CA NP license, ANCC certification, and 2+ years of adult mental health experience. A computer and quiet space are required for telehealth appointments.

Qualifications

• MSN degree required and active California Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license.
• ANCC board certification required.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in adult mental health.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Must have own computer and a quiet, professional space for tele-psychiatry.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations and collaboratively develop treatment plans with clients for medication, therapy or a combination of both.
• Proactively follow up with clients at least monthly to assess efficacy of interventions and ongoing care until goals are met.
• Provide care with multiple modalities of talk therapy as preferred by clients.
• Ensure culturally competent communication and treatment.
