Job summary

HealthDrive is seeking an entry-level Provider Support Specialist to provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to nurse practitioners, physicians, and the primary care operations team. You will help providers access resources, navigate workflows, update records, and coordinate scheduling and coverage, all from a remote work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or coursework in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred.
• Experience in administrative support, customer service, scheduling, or healthcare preferred.
• Familiarity with skilled nursing facilities or long-term care workflows preferred.
• Prior healthcare experience not required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Serve as day-to-day administrative support contact for providers, routing to resources.
• Track provider requests, document updates, and follow up with teams.
• Assist providers with locating forms, policies, and training materials.
• Maintain provider rosters, facility lists, territory assignments, and directories.
• Record approved PTO, leave, and schedule changes in trackers.
• Support provider onboarding, facility transitions, and territory changes.
• Update operational trackers and compile routine productivity reports.
• Prepare meeting materials and follow up on action items.
• Coordinate routine requests with facility contacts, regional managers, clinical leads, and internal depts; escalate as needed.
• Route EMR access issues to the appropriate support team.
• Organize reference materials and maintain provider, facility, and patient information with confidentiality.
• All other duties as required.
