Job summary

UnitedHealth Group’s Optum Serve Health Services (OSHS) seeks a Provider Relations Advocate to maintain strong relations with network providers and support provider retention. You will address inquiries, educate on fees, and collaborate across departments to resolve issues.

A High School Diploma, 1+ year provider relations experience, and MS Office proficiency are required. The role offers a 40-hour week, Mon–Fri, remote nationwide with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of experience in provider relations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to work remotely and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess and resolve provider concerns to improve satisfaction and retention.
• Educate providers on fee structures and contract expectations.
• Staff provider relations queue and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Handle provider documentation and ensure compliance with contracts.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to assign providers and process claims.
• Travel as required within territory and work a standard 40-hour week.
