Job summary

Addison Group is recruiting for a PB Provider Audit and Education Supervisor in Houston, TX, with a remote-first setup and rare onsite needs. You will oversee about 12 Provider Educators, guiding education and coding compliance initiatives across multiple specialties.

Ideal candidates have active AAPC/RHIT/RHIA credentials, strong CMS guidance knowledge, and 1–3+ years of supervisory experience. This contract-to-hire role offers a remote work model and upcoming onsiteReporting as needed.

Qualifications

• Active AAPC certification, RHIT, or RHIA.
• Strong Professional Billing/ProFee coding and auditing background.
• 1–3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CMS coding and billing guidelines.
• Extensive experience with E/M coding, procedures, and surgical coding.
• Strong understanding of coding and billing edits.
• Knowledge of split/shared services.
• Experience across multiple physician specialties.
• Ability to research complex coding questions and communicate findings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of provider educators and manage day-to-day workflow.
• Monitor productivity and review daily logs to ensure coverage.
• Conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions with staff.
• Research and respond to coding questions from providers and leadership.
• Provide guidance on E/M coding, procedures, surgeries, and CMS requirements.
• Support education across multiple specialties and maintain quality standards.
• Coordinate auditing workloads within MDAudit and ensure deadlines.
