Job summary

Practice Resources LLC is seeking an experienced Provider Auditor and Educator for a fully remote role in the United States. You will conduct comprehensive coding, documentation, and compliance audits across primary care and other specialties, partnering with physicians and clinical staff to improve accuracy and risk adjustment performance.

The role requires deep knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS Level II, and CMS guidelines, with responsibilities spanning education, auditing, and program

Qualifications

• CPC/CCS-P/RHIT/RHIA/CPMA or equivalent coding certification required.
• Minimum 5 years of professional coding, auditing, or documentation improvement experience.
• Minimum 3 years auditing Primary Care, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine providers.
• Strong knowledge of CPT, HCPCS Level II, ICD-10-CM, E/M guidelines, and CMS regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform prospective and retrospective audits of provider documentation, coding, and compliance.
• Review medical records to ensure accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II codes.
• Audit E/M services using AMA and CMS guidelines.
• Develop and deliver provider education and documentation improvement initiatives.
• Monitor CMS, MMA, Medicaid, and payer requirements; support denial analysis and payer inquiries.
