Job summary

Bio-Techne is seeking a field-based Protein Science Reagent Sales Specialist to cover a balanced subset of key accounts in Texas, focusing on proteins, antibodies, ELISA kits, and related solutions from Bio-Techne brands such as R&D Systems. You will build relationships with scientists and decision-makers to drive portfolio adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biological/medical sciences or life science field is required or advanced degrees considered in lieu of industry experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in life sciences sales is required.
• Experience selling research reagents or related life science consumables is strongly preferred.
• Must have working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Salesforce (CRM).

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets through consultative selling methods.
• Field sales located in the designated territory and visiting customers 4 days per week.
• Maintain and develop incremental business in existing and new accounts.
• Identify solutions for customers using industry knowledge for proteins, antibodies, and kits.
• Plan and execute account management to accomplish goals and follow company vision.
• Ensure customers understand value proposition, features, benefits, and applications of products.
• Daily use of CRM (Salesforce) for scheduling, forecasting, and data capture.
