Job summary

GuidePoint Security is seeking a Proposal Manager to lead the development and QA of RFx responses. You will collaborate with technical SMEs, sales, contracts, and other departments to drive compliant, compelling proposals, ensuring high-quality deliverables aligned to GuidePoint’s objectives.

The candidate will manage content libraries, respond to complex RFx requests, and provide strategic guidance while meeting deadlines in a remote, nationwide capacity.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in English, technical writing/editing, or related discipline or experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in proposal development.
• Experience managing multi-volume RFx responses across disciplines.
• Strong editing and content writing abilities.
• Technical aptitude in cybersecurity/IT.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Certinia or Responsive CMS.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for commercial and SLED RFxs.
• Independently manage the entire proposal response process.
• Coordinate across multiple departments and regions.
• Maintain proposal content libraries, templates and documentation.
• Offer guidance on strategy, structure and presentation.
• Conduct compliance reviews of RFx requirements.
• Write new content and edit existing material for clarity and persuasiveness.
• Customize content to fit client industry.
