Ho-Chunk, Inc. is seeking a motivated Junior Proposal Manager to support the development of competitive federal proposals.

The role reports to the Director of Proposals and offers a remote work option with opportunities to grow in technical writing, project management, and proposal development. Ideal candidates will demonstrate organization, proactive communication, strong writing abilities, and a keen eye for detail in a deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business, Marketing, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in proposal coordination, writing, or related role.
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate all phases of federal proposal development from solicitation analysis to final submission.
• Review solicitations to identify requirements, evaluation criteria, and compliance obligations.
• Develop and maintain proposal schedules, matrices, outlines, and content trackers.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and teams to gather information and content.
• Oversee smaller, less complex proposals under director guidance.
