Job summary

Intrepid Global Solutions is seeking an Associate Proposal Manager to support federal proposals from kickoff through submission. You will coordinate with capture managers, business leaders, and technical contributors to ensure compliant, compelling responses.

The role emphasizes development, timelines, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment. Training includes Shipley-based processes and APMP certification to prepare you for progression to Proposal Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in proposals, capture, contracts, or deadline-driven work.
• Familiarity with FAR-based solicitations (e.g., Section L/M) and proposal development best practices.
• Experience with proposal schedules, compliance matrices, annotated outlines, and review processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication across all organization levels.
• Willingness to obtain APMP Foundation certification within 180 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage development of assigned federal proposals from kickoff through submission.
• Develop compliant outlines aligned with instructions and strategy.
• Build and maintain proposal schedules, compliance matrices, and cross-reference tools.
• Translate solicitation requirements into actionable assignments and content plans.
• Incorporate win themes and discriminators into proposal content and visuals.
• Coordinate proposal support with Finance, Contracts, HR, IT, Security, Legal, and others.
• Support color team reviews and ensure comments are tracked and addressed.
• Ensure final proposals are compliant and aligned across volumes.
• Partner with production resources for formatting, packaging, and submission.
• Identify proposal risks and schedule challenges; drive improvements across the process.
