Job summary

Selective Insurance is seeking a Property Field Claims Specialist for the Arizona territory. This is a fully remote position and includes a company vehicle. You must reside in the nearby area or be willing to relocate at your own expense.

Responsibilities include handling Property and Inland Marine claims, generally with exposures of $25,000 to $100,000, investigating, estimating damages, and settling within authority. 75% travel within territory is expected.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• Prefer 5 years claims experience with knowledge of Commercial and Personal Lines.
• Must have valid state driver's license and ability to drive.
• Proficient in standard business and claim-specific software.

Responsibilities

• Handle property/inland marine claims for assigned region.
• Evaluate and settle damages between $25,000 and $100,000 (aggregate).
• Join catastrophe team and respond as needed to catastrophe events.
• Provide coverage determinations, reserving and settlement within authority.
• Travel within territory; car travel represents ~75% of time.
