State Farm is seeking a Property Field Inspection Claim Specialist to handle on-site inspections for homeowners, commercial properties, and large losses, serving the Coeur d’Alene area. You will estimate damages, explain coverage, and guide insureds through the claims process with remarkable service.

The role involves field and remote work, with travel within assigned territory, flexible hours, and potential overtime to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Ability to investigate problems, evaluate information, and make well-supported decisions.
• Ability to interpret detailed policies, guidelines, or technical information and apply them.

• Ability to interact with policyholders, agents, and stakeholders to move claims forward.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections and assessments of property damages for residential and commercial claims.
• Collaborate with policyholders, agents, and other involved parties to gather information and resolve claims.
• May interact with emotionally charged individuals during inspections or resolutions.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the claims process.
• Gather evidence, document findings, and prepare detailed reports to support claims handling.
• Investigate and adjust property claims with exposures up to $500,000.
• Evaluate coverage and policy terms to determine claim validity and compliance.
• Negotiate and settle claims within authorized limits per policy and guidelines.
