Job summary

Travelers is seeking an Associate Claim Rep, Outside Property to service insureds and agents in and around Prescott, AZ. The role operates remotely with a mix of work from home, mobile work, or at a Travelers office, and involves training in claim handling, customer service, and policy interpretation to develop independent claims handling skills.

The program lasts 9–12 months, with potential for progression to full claims handling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service or insurance preferred.
• Willingness to obtain an active adjuster license as required by state law.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; willingness to learn claims management and estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Participate in structured training on policies, claims processes and systems.
• Review and document 1st party property claims under supervision.
• Gather information from policyholders, claimants, witnesses and third parties.
• Learn to determine coverage for building damages per policy terms.
• Maintain accurate records in claim management systems.
• Communicate professionally with customers and internal stakeholders.
