Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a Field Claims Specialist II, Property to support Omaha, NE with work-from-home flexibility and travel to sites. You will investigate and resolve moderate to severe property claims by phone and in person, ensuring top-tier customer service.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of property claims experience, construction knowledge, and proficiency with Xactimate. Lifting rooftops safety and CAT readiness are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of property claims experience.
• Experience with Xactimate and estimating.
• Construction background in residential domains.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• CAT duty is a requirement of this role.

Responsabilités

• Handle assigned claims promptly and with minimal oversight.
• Determine policy coverages and apply claims practices.
• Open/close/adjust reserves per procedures.
• Inspect properties and prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Coordinate with SIU and Subrogation for fraud and recovery.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to Nationwide customers.
