Job summary

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a Field Claims Specialist II, Property who will investigate and resolve moderate to severe property damage claims by phone and in person. The role requires navigating policy coverages, writing estimates, and making informed decisions with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of insurance field/property claims handling or adjusting experience.
• Solid experience with Xactimate and writing estimates.
• Experience in a customer-service environment with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Handles all assigned claims promptly and with minimal direction.
• Determines proper policy coverages and applies claims practices accordingly.
• Maintains reserves and follows conferencing/authority procedures.
• Inspects properties and coordinates with SIU/Subrogation as needed.
• Delivers exceptional customer service to Nationwide customers.
