Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a Field Claims Specialist II, Property, to investigate and resolve moderate to severe property damage claims via phone and face-to-face handling. The role requires in-depth knowledge of claims processes, strong customer service, and CAT readiness.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in property claims, experience with Xactimate, and the ability to manage reserves and repairs while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of related property claims experience.
• Experience in a customer service environment with flexible schedules and extended hours.
• Obtain Xactimate Level 1 within 1 year and Level 2 within 2 years.

Responsabilités

• Handles all assigned claims promptly and effectively, with minimal direction.
• Determines proper policy coverages and applies appropriate claims practices.
• Opens, closes and adjusts reserves according to company practices.
• Maintains knowledge of insurance products, guidelines and changes.
• Submits reports to claims management as needed.
• Partners with Special Investigation Unit and Subrogation to identify fraud.
