Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; two years property adjusting experience.
• AIC or CPCU designations preferred.
• Experience with Xactimate or similar software.

Aufgaben

• Investigates property claims for farm and home through on-site visits and interviews to determine damage.
• Determines policy coverages and, when needed, investigates, evaluates, negotiates and settles claims per policy.
• Manages time to ensure prompt resolution while upholding professionalism.
• Prepares and submits findings reports, documents activity, offers, and demands.
• Works with law enforcement to verify theft and recovery when applicable.
• Builds strong relationships with Agents and Mutual Managers as liaison.
• Conducts on-site inspections to assess building value and risk.
• Recommends building coverage to value and coordinates with underwriting.
• Authorizes and/or approves claims payments within authority and reserves.
• Maintains files from start to close and performs other duties as assigned.
