State Farm is seeking a Remote-Field Property Field Inspection Claim Specialist to join our Mason City, IA area team. You will conduct on-site inspections for residential and commercial claims, gather evidence, and explain coverage while guiding policyholders through the claims process.

You will collaborate with agents and stakeholders, using a mix of in-person and digital tools. A valid driver's license is required, and the role offers remote work with travel within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections and assessments of property damages for residential and commercial claims.
• Collaborate with policyholders, insurance agents, and other involved parties to resolve claims efficiently.
• Interact with parties who express strong emotions during inspections or resolutions.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the claims process.
• Gather evidence, document findings, and prepare detailed reports to support the claims handling process.
• Investigate and adjust personal and commercial property claims with exposures up to $500,000.
• Evaluate coverage and policy terms to determine claim validity and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Negotiate and settle claims within authorized limits, considering policy provisions and standards.
