Job summary

The Eaton ES AMER MFGSC division is seeking a remote Project Quality Engineer in the United States. You will lead quality activities from early project engagement through FWT/FAT, ensuring compliance with customer specs, industry standards and Eaton requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality, product engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related function within an electrical industry.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting quality functions within a factory, manufacturing, and/or site environment.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position (no CPT/OPT/STEM OPT/H-1B support).

Responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional quality activities from early project engagement to Factory Witness Test (FWT) or Factory Acceptance Test (FAT).
• Develop and deploy Quality Plans incorporating inputs from customers, suppliers and internal teams.
• Co-facilitate risk reduction processes (DFMEA, DVP&R, PFMEA) and CTQ preparation.
• Ensure adherence to applicable customer, industry standards and Eaton requirements.
• Lead lessons learned and drive action implementation with the project team.
• Collaborate with Supplier Quality, Plant Manufacturing Quality and Customer Quality for audits, PPAP, and evidence reviews.
