Job summary

Blue Collar Scholars LLC is seeking a hands-on, remote Project Manager to own residential remodel projects from handoff to closeout. You will communicate with homeowners daily and supervise subcontractors without on-site visits.

Work from home across US Eastern hours, using Buildertrend or similar tools to track schedules, budgets, permits, and quality, ensuring margins and customer experience.

Authorized to work in the US is required; previous remote supervision experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience managing residential remodeling projects with subcontractors and budgets.
• Strong communication with homeowners, including when delivering difficult news.
• Ability to manage multiple active projects remotely.

Responsibilities

• Talk with homeowners and subcontractors every day: morning plans, end-of-day updates.
• Manage schedules, materials, permits, quality, change orders and budget.
• Verify work remotely through photos, video and measurements before approving each stage or payment.
• Keep project records current in Buildertrend.
• Protect the customer experience and the project margin.
