Job summary

The National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA) is seeking a Project Manager to lead a philanthropic initiative that combines qualitative research, stakeholder convening, and data-focused analysis across NASWA and MSDC networks. The role reports to the Senior Manager, MSDC, and will coordinate multiple workstreams to meet scope, schedule, and budget for funder requirements.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of project management, PMO, or coordination experience.
• Experience guiding multi-stakeholder initiatives with schedules and budgets.
• Strong ability to communicate clearly in written and oral formats.
• Experience managing grant-funded or philanthropic projects is a plus.
• Familiarity with workforce development, unemployment insurance, or public programs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Teams, Excel, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project plans and milestone schedules.
• Coordinate activities across workstreams, staff, vendors, and partners.
• Monitor progress, risks, issues, and provide status updates to leadership.
• Plan logistics for stakeholder meetings and events, virtual or in-person.
• Prepare dashboards, reports, and funder-facing updates.
