Job Description

CONTRACT POSITION - 1 Year

We have an immediate opening for a Project Manager to manage multiple software development and implementation projects. Projects include new development and integration of various software systems and activities need to be coordinated with multiple agencies.

• Coordinate with program managers who have operational responsibility for these systems and other IT staff as needed.
• Work with functional teams and technical teams, manage vendor/client relationship, and develop work plans for migration projects and implementations.
• Identify and manage risk.
• Generate detailed status reports; may work with multiple business owners in developing requirements.
• Create and maintain project schedules and related documentation, and follow up with appropriate staff. Report status to management.

Qualifications

• 8 years - Software Development Life Cycle Project Management
• 8 years - Project Management tools (MS Project, Visio, Excel, SharePoint)
• 8 years - Excellent written and oral communication/presentation skills
• 5 years - Risk Analysis
• 8 years - Technical Project management experience
