Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Project Manager to lead and coordinate educational facility, municipal, and other capital projects from planning through closeout. The role is remote-based with travel across Arizona, especially the Phoenix metro area, and requires strong leadership, communication, and multi-disciplinary collaboration.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in related PM roles, a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, and familiarity with project controls, procurement, and design-build processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of experience in project management, construction management, program management, or capital project delivery.
• Experience coordinating project scope, schedules, budgets, documentation, and stakeholder activities.
• Strong verbal and written communication, organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage projects or assigned workstreams of varying size and complexity under the direction of senior project leadership.
• Assist with developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, budgets, forecasts, action logs, and performance information.
• Monitor project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements, and promptly communicate potential variances or concerns.
• Identify project risks and issues, support the development of mitigation strategies, and elevate significant matters when required.
• Coordinate activities among clients, consultants, contractors, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders.
• Support planning, design development, permitting, procurement, construction, commissioning, occupancy, and closeout activities.
• Facilitate or support project meetings, prepare meeting notes and status reports, track action items, and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Review consultant and contractor deliverables, schedules, cost information, change requests, RFIs, and other project documentation within the assigned level of responsibility.
• Support contract administration, procurement activities, invoice review, and compliance with applicable contract requirements, regulations, and standards.
• Analyze project information and provide practical recommendations to support project decisions and improve delivery outcomes.
• Build effective working relationships and maintain clear communication with project teams and stakeholders.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Support community outreach, stakeholder engagement, and coordination with public agencies and local jurisdictions as required.
