Job summary

Versar Global Solutions is seeking a full-time Project Manager to lead electronic security system (ESS) installation projects nationwide for USMS. You will oversee cost, schedule, scope, and quality, coordinate with construction, IT, and client stakeholders, and report progress weekly.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of PM experience, plus Public Trust clearance and US citizenship. Travel will be extensive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of verifiable project management experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Project.
• Professional experience in the systems administration field with three years of overall experience in Microsoft Windows client and server operating systems.
• Certifications, or have the capability to obtain certifications, in Hirsch, Bosch BVMS, and Bosch IDS, and experience with Commend, Aiphone, Inovonics, and networks.
• Prior experience as a project manager for ESS projects with a full understanding of managing clients, financials, vendor relationships, subcontractors, and project level staff.
• Public Trust clearance requirements.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall management of multiple ESS installation projects nationwide with some remote work and extensive travel.
• Meet or exceed client project execution requirements through effective allocation of resources, and by ensuring high quality work, following budget and schedule parameters.
• Manage internal resources and subcontractors, verifying quality of installation and deliverables, evaluating percent complete for subcontracted tasks, and negotiating costs.
• Ensure contractual compliance with all installation activities, deliverables, and schedule.
• Manage and document inventory of all equipment and material purchased for the project and/or shipped to the project site for installation.
• Ensure internal project management procedures are followed, including project revenue forecasting and estimate at completion.
• Ensure all projects are carried out safely in accordance with Versar’s safety requirements.
• Meet with and/or report weekly to internal and external stakeholder entities.
