Job summary

ABC Fitness is seeking a results-driven Project Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment in the United States. You will own project plans, milestones, and timelines, coordinating with Product, Technology, Customer Success, Support, and Operations to ensure on-time delivery.

You’ll manage risks, track dependencies, and provide transparent progress updates to leadership while fostering a culture of improvement, accountability, and collaboration

Qualifications

• Proven ability to develop and maintain project plans, milestones, and timelines.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional workstreams and managing competing deadlines.
• Experience with stakeholders across multiple functions, aligning activities and ownership.
• Solid understanding of project management fundamentals: risk, issue tracking, and status reporting.
• Ability to bring order to shifting priorities and seek guidance when needed.
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, Microsoft 365, or similar tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Drive project execution: Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, timelines, deliverables, and ownership assignments to keep work moving toward defined outcomes.
• Coordinate across teams: Partner with Product, Technology, Customer Success, Support, Operations, and other stakeholders to align activities, track dependencies, and support effective handoffs.
• Manage project risks and issues: Proactively identify, document, and monitor risks, blockers, and dependencies, escalating significant concerns with clear context and potential next steps.
• Create project visibility: Maintain accurate project documentation, progress trackers, action logs, and status reports to give stakeholders a reliable understanding of progress and priorities.
• Support effective project meetings: Coordinate working sessions, prepare agendas, document decisions and action items, and follow through with owners to maintain momentum.
• Keep commitments on track: Monitor deliverables and deadlines, communicate potential delays early, and work with accountable team members to resolve execution challenges.
• Support multiple initiatives: Balance defined projects and workstreams while partnering with project leadership on more complex initiatives, priorities, and escalations.
• Improve ways of working: Identify opportunities to simplify project tracking, strengthen reporting accuracy, and introduce repeatable practices or appropriate automation that make teams more effective.
