Job summary

The Chemours Company is seeking a Project Manager to lead large and small capital projects across Chemours sites worldwide, reporting to the Senior Manager – Capital Projects. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and innovation, with opportunities to collaborate across global teams and manage design, procurement, construction, and project controls from FEL through start‑up.

The position may be based at various locations with proximity to Wilmington, Delaware or Philadelphia, PA area to enable

Qualifications

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in any Engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years managing capital projects.
• Minimum of 3 years working with a chemical plant environment.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with field construction or contract management.
• Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to lead by influence.
• Strong team‑building skills.
• Experience in working with engineering/design contractors.
• Experience using project scheduling software.
• Smart engineering/design tools knowledge.
• Fluent use of Microsoft Office software.
• Ability to travel approximately 40% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead large/complex and small capital projects across Chemours sites worldwide.
• Plan, lead and manage all activities from FEL thru Start‑Up.
• Ensure safety, quality, and innovation throughout projects.
• Coordinate design, procurement, construction, controls, and contractor oversight.
