Job summary

GovCIO is hiring a Project Manager/Business Analyst to support project initiation through delivery, eliciting and documenting business requirements to align outcomes with goals. This fully remote US-wide role bridges business stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure successful project results.

The candidate will create integrated project plans, manage budgets and schedules, track risks, facilitate Agile ceremonies, and produce value-driven analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5–7+ years in project management or business analysis
• Experience managing full project lifecycles from initiation to closeout
• Strong requirements elicitation, process mapping, and documentation skills
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, MS Project
• Excellent written and verbal communication, translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences
• Experience in Agile (or hybrid) delivery environments
• Industry-specific knowledge preferred (healthcare, finance, technology)

Responsibilities

• Creates integrated project plans for contract deliverables and new products in development projects.
• Manages a project team and project budgets, tracks status, schedules, and reports.
• Identifies risks and implements resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals.
• Develops monitoring mechanisms and facilitates problem solving with teams and managers.
• Elicits, analyzes, documents, and validates business requirements through stakeholder interviews.
• Translates business needs into functional/non-functional requirements, user stories, and process maps.
• Supports UAT planning and execution with technical teams.
• Liaises between business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership.
