Job summary

Diverse Agile Solutions in Washington, DC is seeking a Senior Business Analyst (TO-703) to join our team supporting a government client. You will serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, capturing and translating business needs into actionable requirements to drive complex IT initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in BA/PM/related roles.
• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/BA or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with executive leadership and business stakeholders.
• Ability to create clear, detailed documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Gather, analyze, validate, and document requirements.
• Facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops, and sessions.
• Develop detailed requirements, user stories, use cases, and flow diagrams.
• Collaborate with PMs, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, developers, testers, and stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and backlog refinement.
• Assist with prioritization and management of product backlogs.
• Translate complex business needs into detailed technical requirements.
• Analyze existing processes and propose improvements.
• Support project planning and management activities.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Assist with UAT, validation, and traceability activities.
• Work with development teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Support change management and stakeholder communications.
• Use collaboration tools to facilitate coordination.
