Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie in the building technology space seeks a Project Manager to oversee Truss Design Services and Truss Implementations. You will coordinate with internal teams and customers, manage schedules, and ensure projects meet requirements. The role emphasizes process improvement and cross‑functional teamwork.

Travel up to 15% and a full-time remote role are offered, preferably in the Southeast region, with a salary range of $84,400 to $135,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in architectural/engineering tech preferred.
• 5 years' experience in design/engineering of metal plate connected wood trusses and EWP.
• Knowledge of wood framed construction practices, codes and standards.
• Ability to apply algebra, geometry and trigonometry.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural/structural drawings.
• Strong communication and reporting skills in business context.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Truss Design Software; basic SQL/networking knowledge.
• Valid driving record.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects with Design Services and Component Review Services teams and manage timelines.
• Track process for Design Services; provide progress reports to stakeholders.
• Refine project management processes across Operations & Distribution Teams.
• Assist sales with client needs assessments and advise on software capabilities.
• Support software implementation and establish customer success measures.
