Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie is seeking a Project Manager – Building Technology to oversee Truss Design Services and Truss Implementations. This role coordinates with Design Services, Component Review Services, and external customers, ensuring schedules, documentation, and progress reports meet commitments.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in design and engineering of prefabricated metal plate connected wood trusses, with strong knowledge of project management and software implementations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience with design and engineering of prefabricated metal plate connected wood trusses.
• Ability to read construction documents including architectural and structural drawings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects with Design Services and Documentation for stakeholders.
• Plan, track, and communicate progress using project management software.
• Review and refine project management processes across teams.
• Assist sales in client needs assessment and software demonstrations.
• Assist with software implementation and customer success measures.
