Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie seeks a Project Manager – Building Technology to oversee Truss Design Services and Truss Implementations. You will coordinate projects, manage timelines, and maintain thorough records while guiding cross-functional teams and customers.

The role involves PM leadership, collaboration with Sales, and implementation support. Travel is up to 15%. Remote work is possible in the Southeast region, with full-time exempt status and strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in design/engineering of prefabricated metal plate connected wood trusses and EWP.
• Solid understanding of wood framed construction and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects with Design Services and Component Review Services, communicating progress to stakeholders.
• Plan, track, and report project status using PM software; maintain records and performance reports.
• Refine PM processes across Operations & Distribution to improve initiation, tracking, and completion of projects.
• Assist Sales with client needs assessment and advise on software capabilities for demonstrations.
• Support software implementation and establish customer success measures.
