Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie is seeking a Project Manager – Building Technology to oversee Truss Design Services and Truss Implementations. The role involves coordinating projects, documenting progress, and communicating with internal and external customers.

You will manage timelines, provide progress reports, and continually refine PM processes across the Operations & Distribution Teams. The position is remote, ideally located in the Southeast region, with travel up to 15%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, or Engineering Design/Drafting preferred.
• 5 years’ experience with design/engineering of prefabricated metal trusses and EWP.
• Strong reading, writing, and mathematical skills; ability to interpret construction documents and drawings.
• Experience presenting information and coordinating with managers, clients, and teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects with Design Services and Component Review Services teams.
• Document, schedule, manage, design, and communicate projects with stakeholders.
• Utilize project management software to plan and track progress and provide status reports.
• Collaborate with sales to assess client needs and verify software capabilities.
