Job summary

United Concordia Dental is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex initiatives from definition through transition. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, maintain evidence of delivery health, and ensure alignment with sponsor objectives.

The role requires strong leadership, governance, and the ability to drive delivery with accountability across business, technology, and regulatory partners. A DoD contract requirement applies for US citizenship and background checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, healthcare administration, operations, project management, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• PMP certification or comparable project management training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish a clear delivery foundation with sponsor and owner alignment.
• Develop and maintain charters, integrated plans, schedules, milestones, and resource plans.
• Define roles, governance, escalation paths, and working agreements.
• Identify dependencies and incorporate them into planning.
• Align delivery approach to complexity, risk, and business needs.
• Lead cross-functional delivery across business, technology, operations, regulatory, and vendors.
• Facilitate meetings with clear purpose, decisions, owners, and due dates.
• Track progress against scope, schedule, cost, quality, readiness, and delivery commitments.
• Maintain momentum by resolving barriers and escalating unresolved constraints.
• Verify deliverables meet requirements before milestones or transitions.
• Coordinate implementation, stabilization, and transition-to-operations.
• Create RAID, dependency, decision, and change logs; maintain current evidence.
