Job summary

Eaton's North American Sales division is seeking a Manager, Project Engineering to lead and direct the technical team supporting Field Project Managed orders in the Central Region.

You will ensure workloads are balanced, identify training needs, and coordinate with Product lines, Field Sales, and Project Managers to deliver efficient project orders across Built-To-Order, Assembled-To-Order, and Engineered-To-Order equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of sales, customer service and/or project management experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Relocation not offered; candidates must reside in Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Kansas, or Ohio.
• Eaton does not sponsor immigration employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the technical team of Project Engineers in the Central Region to support project orders.
• Distribute workload and identify training needs.
• Act as escalation point for technical and commercial issues.
• Communicate with internal partners and customers on pricing, BOM, and documentation.
• Promote Project Management Organization capabilities to customers, distributors, and sales.
