Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Project Director, Commercial Nuclear Services for a remote role based out of Oak Ridge, TN. You will lead one or more nuclear projects, directing project teams, schedules, budgets, and safety culture while ensuring contract requirements are met.

You will recruit and develop staff, coordinate with functional managers, and deliver rigorous client reporting and governance. Strong communication and leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 15 years commercial nuclear experience.
• Minimum of 10 years project management experience.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience leading teams.
• Experience working in a live Nuclear environment.
• Demonstrated ability to review work and provide technical guidance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact with clients and engineering staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead AtkinsRéalis project teams and develop work execution plans.
• Set up work breakdown structure (WBS), budgets, schedules, and risk management strategies.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with contract requirements.
• Recruit and develop project staff and coordinate with functional managers.
• Provide regular progress reporting and client communications.
